What Is the Medrio Early Adopter Program?

The Medrio Early Adopter Program is an invitation-based program for life sciences teams. It gives sponsors and CROs direct input on new Medrio products before general availability.

Customer feedback sits at the center of how Medrio builds its products. We design products as answers to real challenges our customers face. Your workflows, frustrations, and workarounds show us what to build next.

For more than 20 years, small and scaling life sciences teams have trusted Medrio’s electronic data capture (EDC) system. Now we’re building a connected, intelligent ecosystem around it, and we’re building it with direct feedback from our customers.

The Medrio Early Adopter Program is how teams join that work.

Why did we create the Early Adopter Program?

At Medrio, we are building a natively connected platform to better support small and scaling sponsors and CROs. As we build it, we see enormous value in collaborating with the people who will use our technology every day. With their valuable input, we hope to address fragmented tech in the clinical trial industry.

In order to help us build the best ecosystem, Medrio is seeking real-world feedback from the teams who’ll use our products every day.

That’s why we created the Early Adopter Program, where members work closely with the Medrio product team and offer feedback on product development. In return, they’ll receive benefits like early access, discounts, and direct access to our experts.

Currently, the Early Adopter Program is focused on clinical trial management system (CTMS), electronic trial master file (eTMF), Site Payments, and the next generation of EDC.

Who is the Early Adopter Program for?

The program serves small and scaling life sciences teams that want a say in their software. That includes current Medrio customers and teams that are new to Medrio.

The program may be a good fit if your team:

  • Plans a study that needs CTMS, eTMF, or site payment support.
  • Wants to validate new software against existing workflows.
  • Can commit time to regular, structured feedback.
  • Values working directly with a product team.

Medrio evaluates product fit, study timing, use case, customer readiness, and the type of validation each cohort needs.

How does the program work?

Participants join at one of three levels. Each level matches a different stage of product development.

  • At Level 1, members shape outcomes early
  • At Level 2, members test real workflows
  • At Level 3, members use products first

Level 1

At Level 1, members can help define what we develop before it’s ready for live use. Level 1 members work directly with the Medrio product team and get first consideration as the product moves forward.

At this level, you can see concepts, prototypes, and demos early. You’ll also have an opportunity to validate requirements against your workflows and use cases. Participation is at no cost.

Level 2

At this level, you’ll pressure-test early product versions against how you work. Your team will get tailored onboarding, training, and enablement support.

As a Level 2 member of the Early Adopter Program, you’ll join structured feedback sessions with Medrio product and executive leaders. You’ll be able to bring existing workflows, requirements, and use cases into development. Your first study will be free, with 90 percent off additional studies.

Level 3

As a Level 3 member, you’ll have the chance to put a new Medrio product to work before it’s widely available. The Medrio team will prioritize your feedback as they make decisions about products and their features.

As new capabilities become available, you’ll get first access and a permanently discounted price.

What are the program benefits?

Medrio’s Early Adopter Program operates as a two-way exchange of benefits between Medrio and their clients.

Here’s how that exchange works:

  • Early access: As a member of the Early Adopter Program, your workflows and requirements help us shape Medrio’s platform. Then you get first access to new capabilities.
  • Direct guidance from Medrio’s experts: You work directly with Medrio’s product and leadership teams. You get hands-on support, while your honest feedback informs our product development.
  • Cost savings: Your help lets us build better products. In exchange, we offer you permanently discounted access to the products you help us build. We also offer free studies, discounted studies, and more. Details vary by partnership.

How can you join the Early Adopter Program?

Cohorts are small on purpose, so every member can work closely with our product team. Therefore, participation is by invitation. Small cohorts mean every voice gets heard and has a meaningful impact on our product development.

Here’s what comes next:

  1. Request an invitation: Tell us which products interest you and share a little about your situation.
  2. Meet the team: Talk with us to decide if we’re a good fit for one another.
  3. Get started: If there’s a fit, we’ll confirm your participation level, onboarding, and feedback cadence.
  4. Build with us: Shape new products, share what you learn, and see how your input drives change.

Clinical trial software works best when it fits how teams work. The Early Adopter Program puts your workflows at the center of what Medrio builds next.

If you want a hand in shaping CTMS, eTMF, Site Payments, or next-gen EDC, we’d love to hear from you.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Early Adopter Program free?

Level 1 is free. Commercial terms at higher levels vary by product and participant. They may include a free first study, discounted follow-on studies, or another preferred arrangement.

Can anyone join?

You can request an invitation, but participation isn’t automatic. Medrio considers product fit, study timing, use case, readiness, and the validation each cohort needs.

What’s expected of participants?

All participants give regular, structured feedback. Later levels add production use and serving as a reference at general availability.

When does the program end?

Each product graduates from the program when it reaches general availabilityGA. Early adopters keep their protected pricing after graduation.

Which products are part of the program?

Current and upcoming opportunities include CTMS, eTMF, Site Payments, and next-gen EDC. New products will continue to enter the program as they progress.
