Fred Martin has built a career in healthcare over the course of two decades and has developed healthcare solutions, BI/Analytics solutions, workflow tools across the healthcare continuum, and more. Before joining us, Fred had a 24-year history as a talented product management, marketing, and development leader with a proven track record of strategic planning coupled with stellar communication skills. Most recently, as VP of Product Strategy at SigmaCare, he enabled double-digit financial growth and helped position the company’s acquisition by Matrix Care, its largest competitor.
After earning a B.A. in Communications from the University of Colorado, he obtained two graduate degrees: A Master of Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and an MBA from the Ross Business School at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
At Medrio, Fred solves our customer’s problems by developing products that meet their unique needs. He also ensures that those solutions are delivered on time and are of the highest quality. His team starts by partnering with our customers to design a solution that truly meets their needs, not what we think that solution should be. Fred and his team engage with our customers to understand their challenges and needs. Their next step is defining, designing, engineering, and coding the solution in the customers’ workflow. From there, he makes sure it is safe, secure, scalable, and of the highest quality. Finally, his team markets that solution to our customers while being fully transparent about why we did what we did and why we’re the best choice.
Originally from New York but has lived or traveled across much of the world, he now happily resides in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina with his husband Stephen, and two rescue dogs, Russ and Mojo. When he’s not working, he’s likely having fun in the water (scuba diving or surfing) or on land (skiing, hiking, or anything that involves being outdoors).
