In celebration of 20 years, we took the opportunity to ask team members what inspires them about the work they do. Here’s what they had to say.
On Personal Fulfillment
Jinie Shah started at Medrio in 2013 as a test software engineer. Twelve years later, she is a Senior Director of Quality Assurance (QA).
Favorite Medrio moment: Working with customers who are making a global impact through vaccine development
“Growing up back in India, I was personally infected during [an] outbreak of chikungunya and I know how painful that particular disease was. So, I was really thrilled that I was making a deeper impact for everybody around us.”
On Providing Lightbulb Moments
Ian Davison joined Medrio in 2021 and works as an RTSM subject matter expert. He is based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Favorite Medrio moment: Providing an “aha!” moment during a client RTSM demo
“Recently, I was speaking to a CRO, and they had a bit of a light bulb moment when they realized that our RTSM really was a lot deeper than randomization and trial supply management.”
On Building Community
Katie Cannon joined Medrio in 2024 and works as a Director of Business Development based out of London, UK.
Favorite Medrio moment: Meeting the entire team in-person at Medrio’s annual retreat
“I really enjoyed that sense of community and being able to form connections in person.”
On Providing Customer Education
Jennifer Ricciuti joined Medrio in October 2024 as a Solutions Architect.
Favorite Medrio moment: Developing the University Suite for Medrio RTSM
“The RTSM University Suite is what’s enabling our customers to understand our product and our current platform.”
On Delivering a Quality Product
Stuart Henderson joined in 2021. He works from Glasgow City in Scotland as the Director of Compliance.
Favorite Medrio moment: First “no findings” audit at Medrio
“I’d never had a zero findings audit before and I was so impressed by Medrio’s approach to serious regulatory things. I realized I was in a company that got what they needed to do and delivered it to our customers in such an excellent way.”
On Fuelling Market Competition
Daniel Casentini joined Medrio as an original team member in 2007. Seventeen years later, he serves as Global Head of CRO Partnerships.
Favorite Medrio moment: Competitor validating Medrio’s position in the marketplace by matching their value prop at a conference
“About four to five years into our existence…. I show[ed] up at a Society for Clinical Data Management conference, I flip[ped] through the program and [saw] one of our competitors had matched our value proposition verbatim. It validated our model in the marketplace.”
