In the time since our 2017 equity investment, one of Medrio’s central goals has been building out the resources to expand our existing international footprint. We established servers in Europe. We hired new staff in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region and elsewhere. And next month, from November 11 to 13, we’re heading to Tokyo for the 2018 DIA Japan Annual Meeting.
DIA Japan 2018 won’t be our first stop on the international conference circuit – we attended DIA Europe earlier this year and met with clinical researchers doing fascinating work there. But with countless professionals advancing clinical research and drug development in a rapidly growing region, it’s sure to be one to remember. Here’s what you can expect from us at this landmark event for clinical research in APAC.
1. Meetings, live demos, and more at booth 32/33
Be sure to see us at booth 32/33 at the conference, where team leaders including our founder and CEO, Mike Novotny, will be ready to share insight into Medrio, clinical trial technology, and the trends shaping the industry today. We’ll also have product experts on hand to offer live demonstrations of Medrio’s innovative eClinical platforms, including our EDC, eSource, and brand new eConsent tool.
2. An inside look at the eSource revolution
Many throughout the industry are both intrigued by the impact of eSource on clinical operations, and looking for insight from real-life use cases. If this sounds like you, you’re in luck: On November 12 at 12:45 in room 102, Shinya Yamamoto, our Managing Director for APAC, will be hosting a luncheon seminar full of insight from a panel of eSource experts. The panel will include representatives from two APAC-based Phase I units, who will share their experience using Medrio eSource in their studies. They’ll discuss regulatory considerations, site efficiency, and more. Don’t miss it!
3. Be a part of the growth of APAC
The Asia Pacific is ground zero for growth in clinical research today. At DIA Japan, we’d love to meet you to discuss the factors behind this growth, and share our insight into how clinical researchers of all types can take advantage of it.
With the rapid growth of clinical research in APAC today, DIA Japan has never been a more important time of year. We can’t wait to head to Tokyo to meet the professionals making a difference in this increasingly vibrant region. See you next month!
